About Me

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been motivated by a deep desire to help others. I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings within the human services field including a crisis center, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and as a health coach. These experiences have given me the opportunity to connect with people from different walks of life and in different stages of the human experience. Through it all, one thing seems to remain the same: people are longing to be heard, understood, and accepted. I’ve witnessed the profound impact that our mental health has on every aspect of our lives, and the power of the mind-body connection.

I believe that all people are capable of healing, growth, and positive change, and that each of us possesses an innate inner wisdom that can guide us on our journey toward healing. Although we possess the ability to change, I empathize with the challenging and often non-linear path of personal growth and healing. Having walked this path myself for many years, I know how difficult it can be.

Counseling Approach

As a counselor, my intention is to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, to hold you in unconditional acceptance, to respect where you are on your healing journey, and to offer my expertise as your co-pilot along the way. We’ll work together to navigate challenges, explore your inner world, create purposeful change, free you from thoughts and patterns that no longer serve you, expand your capacity for self-compassion, and embrace the fullness of who you are.

My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where open communication is welcome, and for you to feel empowered and strengthened by the work we do together. I believe in the power of striving toward well-being, rather than solely treating symptoms, and I have deep compassion for those who are navigating life’s challenges.
